Google Play Games login requires Play Services Integration Kit. It provides full Google Play Games support including achievements, leaderboards, saved games, and more.
Play Services Integration Kit is also included in Ultimate Crossplay Integration Kit, which bundles EIK, SIK, and PSIK with unified crossplay nodes.
